Tommy G. Warren

Tommy G. Warren is an award winning American Screenwriter, Director, and Producer who has worked in numerous capacities in the motion picture and media worlds over the past four decades.  He began working on TV commercials, promotional videos, and political campaigns. He was recruited as a consultant and production designer for the MGM feature Red Cornerstarring Richard Gere, and then later moved to Paramount Picture Studios where he held an office for several years and produced the award feature film The Inner Circle. Through his leadership and “Get It Done” philosophy Mr. Warren established Spiderwood Studios, a state-of-the-art, full service Motion Picture, Television, Music, and Animation facility with almost 200-acre groomed for production back lot just outside of Austin, Texas along the Colorado River.  More recently, he added to the Spiderwood Media Companies, creating Spiderwood Productions, Spiderwood Animation and Spiderwood TV along with the Faith Based Family Friendly endeavor Spiderwood Magic.

Mr. Warren’s broad experience includes TV commercials, writing for a variety of Texas publications including Travel Host Magazine, The Texas Journal Trade Magazine, and served as a live radio show host.  He has written several original animated screenplays including Flight of Magicand The Night After Christmas, he’s written several feature adventure dramas, The Orphan, Hippy Binemy, Miss Molly, and the award winning SiFi thriller, Darker ThanNight.  Mr. Warren’s other credits include Producer/Director for Inside the Circle, Producer/Music Supervisor for the More Than Lovesound track, Executive Producer/Writer for Teed Offand Teed Off Too, Associate Producer for Hip Hop Get Downvideo documentary, Executive Producer/Producer/Writer/Music Supervisor for The Inner Circle, and Producer/Post-Production for MafiosaTV series.  He Executive Produced the AFI award-winning documentary Something’s Gonna Live that screened for an Academy Award nomination.  Mr. Warren was technical designer for the Escape Planstarring Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Mr. Warren is also the recipient of numerous awards, including the 33rd Annual Telly Awards, the Accolade International Competition, The Prestige Award, The IndieFest, California International Animation Festival, Exceptional Merit in Media Awards, and the National Press Club Award.

Mr. Warren’s entrepreneur and visualization skills lead him to establish T.Warren Investments, Inc. which led to successfully designing over 40 correctional facilities in the State of Texas.  He has Chaired several Economic Development Programs; served as Chair of Planning and Zoning Commission.  He has been active with consulting and advising the Texas Legislature, the John Gray Institute at Lamar University and The University of Texas Growth Forum.  He’s lectured on National, State, and Local levels. Mr. Warren served on the Board of Directors for Whole Village Technology, Parkdale Bank, Satellite Group, Geniant, JINSA, Austin Community College and St. Edward’s University. He is currently serving on the Board of Bold Ventures and Projekt 202 a software development company.
